The wider community
Wise Steps helps people in Tyne and Wear to transform their lives with funding from the Big Lottery Fund and the European Social Fund. The project provides one to one tailored support to help people take positive steps towards work. Wise Steps is a partnership of local organisations led by the Wise Group.
Wise Steps can help increase job prospects and improve wellbeing.
Participants will receive one to one support from a coach. Together they will look at the personal challenges faced when finding a job. Wise Steps will help increase life skills, build confidence, help with money management, and help people get ready for work.
Participants will also receive support during job search, training, volunteering and work experience.
