We are pleased to announce that we recently applied to the Good Work Pledge in North of Tyne and have been accepted at their highest advanced level.
The Good Work Pledge aims to make poor employment a thing of the past and Good Work the norm. To do this, they ask employers to stand up and be counted in sharing best practices that allow people to thrive at work.
The Wise Group’s People and Culture Director, Suzanne McWilliams, said:
“We know that none of what we do at the Wise Group would be possible without our people at our enterprise’s heart.
Our approach is built on trust to try and enable balance and flexibility that is inclusive and works for each of us, so ultimately, we can have balance while doing the best job we are capable of.
That approach includes the considerations we make around our colleague’s wellbeing. We do everything we can to support our people through challenging times, as we see in the current cost-of-living crisis.
By supporting our colleagues and building trust, we get this trust back multiplied, which further builds our culture of inclusivity and belonging.
It matters to us to be a good employer, and for our colleagues to enjoy what they do; we are therefore very proud of being recognised by North of Tyne Combined Authority in this way.”
