To mark the launch of the Relational Mentoring Service, we asked our colleagues working on the service to sum it up in one word to find out what it means to them! Common themes were hope, progression, motivation and transformation. See what they had to say in the video below!
The Relational Mentoring Service is a bespoke and holistic service that works on the basis of a consistent and compassionate relationship with our Wise group mentors and individuals on the service. Our mentors are there to be the helpful and supportive link to help individuals through harder times, navigating systems for support and encouraging positive growth.
The service aims to cover 15 points, from energy assistance, mental and physical health, work skills and employability, and financial security to help individuals create the building blocks to help build a stable fulfilling life. There is no set time limit for how long you can be in the service and our mentors offer a judgement free and personalised approach, as every individual is different and may need different types of support.
If you have been a recipient of a fuel voucher issued under the Financial Insecurity Fund crisis grant scheme, you can be referred for the Relational Mentoring service. Referrals can be made by the organisation who issued the customer with a fuel voucher, anyone interested can email or call for more information.
