October has been a fabulous month for all of us here at the Wise Group! As we approach the holiday season (keep your eyes peeled for some exciting campaigns!), we think it is really important to reflect back on the successes and challenges of the last few weeks. Read more about what our colleagues have been up to this month below!
Our HEAT and HES teams, who help our customers with issues and advice surrounding energy, have been working hard to ensure our customers have support through the winter period. We have had some lovely feedback from some of our customers and our mentors have really been going the distance to help where ever possible!
In Scotland, our Relational Mentoring service reached 1000 referrals, and our colleagues held an event with some of their partners to celebrate the success! Sectors from around our enterprise, such as our New Routes project and our HEAT and HES teams were able to hold a stall at the event so were able to connect with even more partners to ensure we are helping as many people as possible in our communities! The teams catchphrase is ‘Together, we make things better!’ and they really are proving this to be true this season!
In England, our colleagues are also making lasting and impactful change. Our EPOP colleagues held some extremely successful talks and conversations at the Insights23 festival, while our Relational Mentoring service colleagues are working closely with North Tyneside Combined Authority to support individuals who are in need of some support.
Over the next few months we have some more really exciting events planned! We are hosting a Jobs Fair in Glasgow on the 9th of November and have a very exciting holiday season collaboration on the way. See you next month!
